In this video I will talk about David Kolb’s experiential learning cycle and how to consider the role of wikis, blogs and other tools in social reflective practices.

    Very good presentation.
    However I would like to explicitly see something more about social collaboration (or something like that) in the basic circle activities of Kolb: reflection, abstraction, planning, and action. You are emphasizing that in the details and tools but that should be already at the upper level.
    The same thing in the main titel: Experimental learning cycle & social technologies. “Experimental” is not very clear or inspiring, and social collaborating is more important than “technologies”. You may refer to Kolb but I expected from you at least one step more in innovation from Kolb's approach.

    Thanks Juhani, your feedback is most welcome. I agree that a title like “Experiential Learning & Social Collaboration” would be much more interesting. I still want to build on top of Kolb's theory though so the point is to use either “Experiential Learning” or “Reflective Practice” in combination with social media approaches.
